Mars close approach

Mars - saw it last night really bright. Of course, my little telescope isn't very good so I had to look with the naked eye. My house is south facing and on a hill, so the view was really clear... no 'war of the worlds' sceanrio afoot I hope!

CNN - The Unabomb Trial

We were talking about suicide and the best way to kill yourself... of course, Rob said in the privacy of your own home a gun would be quickest and best. We soon realised that it would be very difficult to get a gun in the UK and Rob suggested making one as in the film which I can't remember. Rob then brought up the fact that the unabomber made his own parts which is why it took so long to rtack him down. Phew... need to get back on with some work.
